Story Gone?

For a long time I forgot my username, after around 6 years I'm finally back.
I remember I had published one story quite some time ago, I log back into my account to find my story is no longer there & there is no record of me having submitted one.

It was published but I am unsure why it was removed. Any ideas why this would have happened?

If it broke site rules e.g. under-age sex, it's possible that somebody reported it and it got taken down. But I think when that happens the story usually gets hidden from readers rather than deleted altogether, so the author has a chance to fix it.

This was quite a few years ago but I don't remember getting any emails about this.
No messages or notifications to read on my account either.
The story, from what I remember, followed all the rules & had nothing rule-breaking that I can think of. Definitely no under-age sex of any kind.

Just confused as to why its not there now.
If it was a problem with the writing itself I'd like to find out what exactly wasn't right so I can amend it & avoid similar issues in future.

A PM to one (or both?) of the site owners will go farther than a thread in Tech Support. This likely isn't a "tech support issue". The most common likelihood is what Bramblethorn said. Even if a "problem" made it past Laurel when you submitted the story, someone could have reported it over time and it was taken down.
