Story Game Code disappeared

I had written over 50,000 words of combined story and code in an unpublished Story game.
I had been going in and out of it for a few weeks and then left it alone for awhile and when I went in there today it's all gone. There's only the opening line there now.
I noticed that it says "Write this in Ink editor and paste it in" but I don't remember seeing that before now and I did not do that.

I appreciate that this is probably not something that can be resolved and I probably should have been more careful with that much text. But I am quite gutted.

I learned from bitter experience. I have at least two copies of each story in two different physical locations at all times, and I save a new version of each story at least once a week, so I would have to really try to completely lose my work.
