Story Decision

Hey all you really experienced writers out there. I have a story that started out being this cute little fantasy sex romp and has grown into this wonderful (I think anyway) short story.

My question is, and perhaps I am being WAY over conceited here but, I could easily clean it up and make a mainstream short story out of it. Should I do that and submit it to some mainstream magazines in hope of being published or should I just go ahead and post it here? How can I make this decision?

Tough choice indeed.

A couple of things to ask yourself:

Are you more interested in exposure or or payment?
Posting your story here will quite probably get it read by more people than submitting it to a magazine. You will definitely get more feedback from posting here than you will from print publication.

Would "cleaning up" the storyy make it a better story?
Some stories are actually better stories without graphic sex senes than they are with them. If your story is better without the sex scenes, then go for print publication. If it needs the sex scenes then publish here.
