Looking at the new stories listed on the site, I noticed small, highlited codes, such as E or H by some of the stories. What do these signify. I kind of want to know, because my latest story has them.

The E is added by Laurel to indicate an "Editor's Choice" eg a story that either she or Manu think should be recommended to those who don't take the time to read everything.

The H is added automatically by the scripts to indicate a "Hot" story as indicated by the interest shown by other readers. I do NOT know what the criteria is to mark a story as being "hot".

"Hot" (or the red H) denotes stories that have been voted on more than 10 times and maintain and average vote of 4.5 out of 5 or better.

"Editor's Choice" (or the yellow E) denotes stories that get our attention. They are not, by any means, the only really really good stories on the site. I still have to go through the site and mark older ones that deserve marking. It's just our opinion, and you know what opinions are like...

Oh, yeah. Live one.

That's right, Jenny. Opinions are just like Camaro's. Everyone has one and they all suck.

Okay, wait. I don't have a camaro. I have a mini-van. I guess *I* suck.

Oh, well.

Oh, Puh-lease!

If writers knew anything about brevity, novels would fit on the back of a matchbook.
