"Erotic Couplings" is the catch-all category.
Per story, it gets fewer reads and lower votes -- at least
that's my experience.
Laurel tends to move a story out of that category if she
possibly can. I'm disappointed in the response I've had
in that category.

Be proud that you didn't write the stereotypical erotic couplings story. Two eighteen year old kids with perfect bodies, big hooters, monster dick and just sex. Before you start tying nooses.....I didn't say they all were, just that is the stereotypical one! (Heck, two of mine are in that category.) If treated well, the mature category has some of the most touching emotional plotlines of any I've found on this site.

Hi - I submitted a story that's now posted on Literotica about an older man who ends up getting together with his friend's daugther. I had submitted it under Erotic Couplings, but it ended up in Mature.

From the strict definition of how literotic defines Mature, it might be ok, but I think most people who come to the sight would consider it more of an erotic coupling.

Any suggestions?

Laurel does her best to try and steer stories away from the huge Erotic Coupling category and into something more specific. If you have a strong preference for EC as opposed to Mature, send her a PM and explain the situation. She switched a story once for me and I know she's done it for other. Just be sure to send your request by PM, not e-mail.
