Story can't be published

I submitted a story for publication, Beech Grove Bed & Breakfast, it moved to Pending. Then I remembered I wanted to add it to a series, "Tongue in Cheek", so I edited it and added it to the series. When I tried to resubmit the story, however, I got a message story cannot be published. Along with that were instructions to send the title and URL to support. Is this forum "support" ? Finding this was not obvious at all. It would've helped if there were a clear link with that error message.

I was unable to edit the story to remove the series, my only choice from within the story was to change to a different series. I went to series and removed the story there, but that did not allow me to submit the story for publication. Help!

OK, now it says story successfully submitted. Let me say that the "Add to series" option does not stand out, so I usually overlook it when I submit a story.

I had a story held back, on the basis of dialogue formatting errors. On editing to correct the errors, I got to the preview page which checked out, but on 'publish' I got the message, "The Story cannot be published'. I followed the instructions to forward the URL, but have had no response.

Is it possible to delete the 'Sent back' version and resubmit afresh?

Yes. It might reset the queue if you submit it again. You might need to change the title slightly.
