Well, having been arond a bit more these last few weeks and intending to stay that way for a while, I thought I'd celebrate by launching my first new story in... oooh ages.

We've had Sex games and Strip Poker. Now comes... Chess with Sex!

Well it appealed to me anyhow.

Find it here: Bishop To Queen's Porn

The premise is that the cast are virtual reality chess pieces going through a game. Think Metropolis, Star Wars, Alice Through The Looking Glass, etc.

So you view the game throug their eyes. And this being porn, being 'taken' means something other than death.

Umm... each thread is a sngle move by a single piece, so we actually can have number of real chess games going on. 16 games (in 4 different styles) are ready to begin...

Any questions?

What an unusual idea? One of the most original things I've seen on here for awhile.

Black queen takes white knight. White queen takes black queen mates black king. Cool concept.

Mr Webster: I just read a thread of your new story and I've become concerned about the way it is to be written. As you undoubtedly know, chess generally takes a few turns before anything "meaty" happens; there are, afterall, four ranks between the two armies. How do you think this should be handled? A speedy array of moves? Perhaps a little sexual banter thrown in for....how many pages worth?

Good point. Maybe the opening should be a gambit, to get some action going within the first few moves.

In this case we'd see the knights, pawns, and perhaps bishops mixing it up relatively quickly.

Maybe Scholar's Mate would be a good quick game to get a feeling for how this would play out.

Sure, I had such ideas on my mind. Additionally there are classic chess openings that can be used.

But the real question is: should the openers and gambits and whatnot be described within a single thread? Zingiber?

Aaron, please. :)

Yeah, I was aware of the issue when I posted the story and did consider the block opening gambit in a single thread as a possibility (but not much use for people who don't want to use whichever opening is chosen).

Unless it proves really unpopular (and maybe even if it does), I'm going to stick with the one thread = one move idea even with the early threads.

Bear in mind, threads don't have to be epic. If there's not much to say, then don't say it.

There's not much point having a thousend words of nothing (although Lewis Carroll managed one chapter per move and nobody being taken). But even an uneventful move can, as you say, have sexual banter and anticpation.

Say your move is a pawn going forward a couple of spaces taking nothing: How do they feel? What can they see? What are the possible next moves? Are they one of the first to move, setting off alone across the board? Or are they joining an established front line? What about that bishop? Are they moving into into his/her line of fire?

Should be good for a couple of hundred words. If its not, write less - as long as it moves the game / story along.

And a superb example of just exactly what I was after they are. Nice sense of location, anticipation and some great characters (Mad Maxine, the motorcycle knight!).

Zingiber's excellent opening moves can be found here and here.

This is a really cool idea, it caught my imagination, I want to try and add a thread I think!

( Although deep into the story I can see having to set my chess board up so I know where everyone is! :p )

Not to worry. Someone will straighten you out on the next move.

You might want to take your moves from the transcript of a game so that you know in advance if you'll get some heavy piece-on-piece action, or long bouts of strategic maneuvering and pawn exchange.

The cool thing is, even the bouts of pawn exchange get to be sexual, yippee! Well done Mr Webster! :nana:

Excellent idea....

...and a very cool story. Wish I was good enough at chess to join in!

If you get in early, the moves are easy.

Join in anyway. You don't have to be any good at ches, just as long as you know the moves. After all, if you're rubbish, you just get taken more often!

With an ever expanding number of posible moves (there are about 25 jump off points now, I think) there is plenty of room for good and bad games (and if you make a duff move, you could always go back and create a new hread with a better move).

Everybody wins! :nana:
(well, not literally, because its chess, of course... :) )

An interesting idea. At first I thought it would be challenging to add threads since this is chess and you have to keep all the rules in mind. But after reading a few threads it turned out it's not that hard.

There are two things I'm curious about:
- how wil Rooks be taken? Since they are portrayed as fortresses it seems a bit hard for any single piece to defeat one (especially a Pawn)...
- what happens when a Pawn reaches the opposite end of the board? How will it "upgrade" (I'm sorry, I don't know the correct english word for this)?

Oh, and I also added 4 new threads, making the story 12 threads deep:
White: Queen d1 to e2 followed by Black: Queen e4 to c2, then White: Queen’s Knight b1 to a3 and finally Black: Queen c2 to g7. It all started with a simple idea of mine: The Black Queen bends over and orders a Pawn to clean her from the males' seeds (this actually takes place in the fourth thread). I'm not sure myself how exactly did that little idea turn into four threads, but it just did. Hopefully someone will take it from here because tright now I'm out of ideas.

Hey moonblack. Interesting that you are "playing with yourself" on this chyoo. Yes yes, pun absolutely intended. sorry. couldn't help it. :p

Ah, I'll try to post a response soon. :)

It's been a long time since anyone added to this story. Even though I have some ideas I just can't find the time to write them - there's always something else. But after all this time someone finally remembered the story and "made a move": Zingiber has added White: King's Pawn c2-c3 (though I believe he meant "e2-e3" instead of "c2-c3").

Thanks, let me fix that.
