Is it really good form to leave someone feedback that is blatently nasty and distasteful? I understand that if someone doesn't like the story they are more than welcome to their opinion, but to say "I didn't like your story" and "You have the nerve to call this piece of shit trash a story?" are two completely different things.

I'm just curious, are most people like that? Or is this a select asshole, who is entitled to their opinion, that needed to say a few more harsh words than called for. I would not dream of telling anyone their story was a piece of shit trash. Maybe that's just me?

Spend ten minutes in the GB forum some night and the scales will fall from your eyes! "You have the nerve to call this piece of shit trash a story?" is high praise from many of them!

Give some people some power and anonymous and they abuse it, That is unless you're in Loving Wives and then that's a whole other can of worms.

Hi, Seeker, and welcome to Literotica and the AH in particular.

It is very bad form to leave feedback such as that. Most people are not like that, although enough are that they could not be called exceptions. As Neonlyte said, you have now been attacked by a troll.

If it's a PC, you can delete it, and probably should. Most of us do not delete honest criticism, and even learn from it, but that is just a gratuitous insult.

There is a side of me that actually enjoys annoying certain people (as many around here can attest to) so I see it as a badge of honor when I get rude comments on a story. Rude comments indicate to me that I have succeeded in leading one more asshole closer to having a stroke or a heart attack.

Then you might leave it, true. If it bugged the hell out of you, though, you were given a delete button. If you don't use it, then you're just letting it bug the hell out of you . . . and maybe an author who would complain but not just delete it is enjoying that activity too.

I doubt if any people would leave their names with stupid comments lke that. With constructive criticism, yes, but with a rant, no.

I'm certain LW stories really do get trolled the most, although some of my incest stories also take a hammering. Certainly LW stories do, especially if they are about a woman sneaking around behind her husband's back. If he knows about it, the stories still get trolled, but not as much.

This would be my entry in any such contest. It also has some compliments, which I appreciate, but it was bashed more than most.
