Story about a kid opening a pizza store

This is going back a couple years but hopefully it's still available. There's a kid who is iirc smart (and there's some kind of book that he bases life lessons on I think) but makes a damn good pizza so he decides to open up a shop. He falls for one of his (girl) friends. Unfortunately that's about all I can remember. I'm hoping someone knows what I'm talking about.
