Story about 52 year old (?) woman, who lived in a poverty

So this woman lived in a poverty in bas part of town, and what little money she had was taken by her son (he was probably part of gang and would frequently beat up her mother). One day a man arrives in her work from another department, she invites him into the house, where this guy proceeds to beat up woman's son. After this, they have sex but when woman wakes up, guy is gone, but her son never bothers her ever again
