I am curious to know how many Literotica forum members actually read erotic stories. (I know that sounds like a dumb question but it isn't really) And if you do read erotic stories I would like to know what they mean to you. Do you find stories more erotic than pictures, or about the same.

Sometimes I will see a picture that has a certain quality to it, a certain something that lifts it above others and you know that you are looking at a piece of erotic art. I would like to think that stories are capable of achieving the same level of erotic perfection and that even people who spend 99 % of their time looking at pictures will take the time to read the odd story or two.

Most stories and vids are choreographed to fit the stereotypes. I call them Brady Bunch Plots cuz you know Mike and Carol will get in the hot tub eventually, and Alice will bake cookies for the gang.

I don't read the stories as much as I used to but on occasion I will. And as for writing v. pictures - it really depends upon the individual story and picture or gif. In general I would say if my mind is stimulated it's easier for me to become aroused.

Words. Always words. I find forum posts as stimulating as stories.

I have a few authors I stalk.
