Here's why I decided to start this thread: For the longest time I have been agonizing on whether I should post this on the "Seeking Role Players and Inspiration 2011" bulletin. For the life of me, I could not figure out why I keep backpedaling at the last minute....

*Walking to a retro-style stand-up mic on top of an unvarnished wood stage hung with cheap red curtains. Tapping mic and wincing at the static squeal... Nervous cough...*

Er... Hey, everybody! Ascended lurker here... Relatively new to the boards... And I'm thinking of starting an RP thread of my own.

Erm... I've got a couple of ideas, but for now I'd like to go with something simple: a one-on-one story revolving around the voodoo doll concept. Basically, the Protagonist/Some Loser (LOL) gets his hand on a weird doll which, after some contrivances, becomes an exact, anatomically correct, sympathetic replica of The Girl --if the guy binds the doll's hands with a rubber band, the girl won't be able to move her hands, if someone pulls off the doll's head... Well, you catch the drift.

Obviously it's gonna involve some bondage and non-consensual sex, given the concept. There's relatively little that'd been plotted so I'm posting this before I actually write anything as I'd actually want to incorporate some ideas my potential writing partner might want to throw in.

I'm looking for a female partner, obviously. I would love to get one with an ability to write detailed scenes (midlength to long posts) in as spiffy language as possible. I've seen what you Litwits can do; I have high hopes. ^_^

Oh, and I almost forgot, but I was sorta planning to start the thing after the New Year celebrations. That way there'll be no hooladay shit to go through.

CONCEPT: Tsuru No Sugimori - POSITION FILLED 1/25/2012

The bitchy CEO of some random tech company fires --and even worse, ruins the credibility of-- an engineer after he discovers a fatal flaw in one of their main projects. Had he been allowed to divulge said information, it would have brought the project to a standstill, costing the company millions. Ruined, engineer puts into motion a nasty revenge: surreptitiously sneaking into company offices to steal undeniable proof of CEO's cover-up, to blackmail CEO into a face-to-face meeting. At the meet he manages to inject something of his design (might be nanomachines, a designer drug, an engineered gene...) into the CEO's bloodstream that has to be held back by some countermeasure every eight hours, else she'd die painfully and horribly. Only the engineer has this stopgap, and of course, this being an SRP thread, he doesn't just ask for money AND tenure, he also makes the CEO his personal sex slave. (Ooh, and we could even have a rapid loss of inhibitions one the macguffin's symptoms.)

CONCEPT: Accel/Edge - Confining Shadows

Set in a world where corporations are represented in an international tournament, that determines their control over worldwide business policies, Iremon Kuki, the sociopathic representative of Ansa-Ichi Megacorp faces a female challenger, who loses. And pays for it.

CONCEPT:

Some Guy has had the hots for Some Girl since, like, f'rever dude. But, like, This Other Dude, he gets to "rock her cabana" first, nudge-nudge-wink-wink, and they become, like, an item? Well, one day this Other Dude and Some Girl get piss-ass drunk and, like, before they keel over or whatever, they call Some Guy to pick 'em up and, like, Some Guy says "sure" and This Other Guy says "cool" and like, Some Guy does pick 'em up? But while This Other Guy and Some Girl are all snoozy, Some Guy straight up, like, takes advantage of Some Girl and takes, like, a vid to blackmail her, 'coz she's, like, the town virgin or something and the scandal will totally ruin her street cred or something. So she becomes Some Guy's, like, slave or something to keep her from getting YouPorned or what.

Some months after his wife dies, a man develops incestuous feelings for his daughter. The daughter's best friend, who has a crush on the widower, figures this out, and uses it to seduce the man.

CONCEPT: Stray

The rain is a dense curtain of fragile bullets shattering against my windows, an interminable muffled drumming against the solid walls of my room. An otherworldly lullaby to my tired frame.

An interruption stirs me. A rhythmed knocking, born not from the black, pregnant sky, but human hands. A repeating rat-at-at. Insistent. Who?

Harder now.

Irked, I stand. Grumble my way to the door. Turn a sleepy eye to the peephole.

Her face is soaked in rain, filling up the peephole's fisheye vista as she leans against the door. Her lips tremble in the cold, her hair hangs down in damp tendrils framing her pixy face.

I open the door, intending to play Samaritan. She leaps at me. Kisses me hard on the lips. She is an animal: hungry, hunting. Rain begins to enter the room through the wide open door.

She breaks, gasping, from our kiss. "Fuck me," she says...

CONCEPT: The Night Before

She'd always been this way: disappearing off the face of the earth one week before exams.

He'd always accepted that.

In the past.

This time, it's different. He's been as horny as hell for the whole week, and has had enough of it.

It is the night before the exams.

Seductions are in order.

CONCEPT: All Hooked Up

During the company's annual New Year's Eve party, 34-year-old EVP Mark finds himself hooking up with Kim, who's 10 years his junior. After a wild night of passion, the pair parts ways, with Mark imagining he'll never see Kim again.

To his utter shock, he discovers on the next working day that Kim is his boss's daughter, and that she's going to be Mark's intern! Hilarious hijinks ensue as Mark attempts to hide their "special non-working relationship" while dealing with Kim's sexual appetite.

CONCEPT: The King of Rhythm

Lee is a 35-year-old burnt-out salaryman. He's married to a wife who's long lost the passion that brought them together, and has a 5-year-old daughter he has no connection with. Lee is aware, acutely, that his life is falling to pieces around him.

Lee however, has one secret that helps keep him sane. After work, every Friday night, he visits the arcade an hour before closing time and plays Revo Revo Dance --a game he dominated in his youth, when he was still the mysterious masked national champion, RevoNinja X.

He gains the notice of 19-year-old Anne, who was about to join the national pairs finals had her partner not gotten injured. Lee and Anne pair up, and even as the finals draws near, Lee has to deal with the pressures of his job, the fact that his wife is starting to think he's having an affair, and that he's actually begun having romantic (and not quite romantic) feelings about Anne.

CONCEPT: The Demo Room

Kevin's a shy, awkward guy who turns to a puddle of nerves when he's around girls. Having not gotten laid since he and his last girlfriend broke up, he decides to go to this sex toy shop he's been seeing on his way home from work.

It being his first time, he asks the cashier, a pretty girl named Zoe what the best product would be for jacking off. Zoe helps Kevin pick a toy and then offers him the use of "the demo room" where he can try out what he's buying and a few other things as well.

Zoe quotes a horribly high price, but while Kevin finds it a little odd, he not knowing any better, pays it anyway.

Zoe leads him to a back room where there's a bed prepared, and to Kevin's surprise tells him that she's part of the demo room deal --he can try her out too!

CONCEPT: Taking Cinderella for a spin.

Suddenly finding myself wanting to do a fantasy RP and I get an idea of Cinderella with a twist.

The story's all familiar: the oppressed girl, the evil stepsisters, the prince, the fairy, the shoe, the happily ever after, right?

Imagine a princess (Cinderella), the sole --haha-- key to a mystical ritual that would rejuvenate a dying land. A ritual a sorceress (stepsister -- singular only) would like to keep from happening so that she could usurp the power of the princess' father, the king.

An attempt to have the princess assassinated fails --perhaps she's too feisty to be put down without a fight, or her being The Key lends her some passive magical protection. She, however, is lost --teleported to a distant land instead of being blown to smithereens? Gone amnesiac?

The King sends the captain of his guard --a distant noble kinsman who is the princess' betrothed as well (the prince?)-- to search far and wide for the princess, bearing a magical pendant that would resonate with the girl, (the shoe) leading him to her. (And possibly restoring her memory, if she does become amnesiac.)

The princess, meanwhile comes under the protection of a mysterious mercenary (the fairy? and no --not THAT kind of fairy. lol) who somehow recognizes the princess. He decides to help her return to her father, restore the land, marry her beloved, and, yes --live happily ever after.

A rough idea I have regarding this is to have three separate threads: one revolving around the captain of the guard and his search for the princess while the sorceress attempts to dissuade him, and one involving the princess as she and her protector attempt to restore her to her proper place. A final thread would start only when the captain and the princess finally meet, to wind the plot down for the endgame.

This means I would need either one female player RPing both the sorceress and the princess, or two female players --one each for the sorceress and the princess. (Naturally, I'd be playing both the captain and the merc. )

CONCEPT: Irresponsible Fighter Syvert! (Fantasy/Comedy)

Syvert Reign is a swordsman from the realm of Esphal, a repeat finalist in the year-long Imperial Tournament that is joined by the greatest fighters in the land. But he isn't famous for that.

Syvert Reign is the last master of the Twisting Blade of The Singing Sage sword technique. He is also the only male master of that technique --which has, since its conception, always been taught only to women. But he isn't famous for that.

Syvert Reign is a mercenary who has never failed a mission. Whether it's as a courier, a bodyguard, an infiltrator --he's done it all and came out unscathed. But he isn't famous for that, either.

However, during his battles and his missions, Syvert racks up an enormous amount of collateral damage in property. So much so that any financial gain he comes into always immediately goes into either paying off the damages, or else into debts accumulated for the same reason. This has earned him the nickname "The Irresponsible Fighter" (which is less painful to hear, actually, than his original nickname which Syvert takes great pains to never hear again!) --a nickname that strikes fear in the hearts of all men everywhere. This is what he's famous for --his horrendous, unending state of debt.

Sword in hand, fire in his heart, and not a penny in his pocket, Syvert wanders Esphal ever looking for that one big score that would take him out of debt --up until the next ruinous battle, of course!

Not quite a full concept, but a character one. I imagine individual RP threads as a single episode of Syvert's life.

However, her father refuses to allow her to learn the ropes of ruling the kingdom --he possesses the more traditional mindset of women being subservient to their husbands and intends to marry the princess off to one of a handful of nobles he views as a suitable match.

The princess doesn't want to marry. Taking matters into her own hands, she calls upon an ancient law which says she could choose to wed any man able to best her champion in battle. Believing no man would dare harm her, the champion she chooses is herself!

With the date of the tournaments drawing closer, and her incensed father not showing any hint of allowing his daughter to be trained, the princess escapes her gilded cage and meets a wandering swordsman.

She manages to convince him to teach her how to fight... and maybe a few other things as well. Who knows where things may go from there?

Wow, what a great idea for a story. I could see him teaching her to fight so well that no man could beat her, and then later showing up at the contest to defeat her himself, the only man who could since he was her teacher.
