I just wanted to thank anaswirls who commented on one of my first poems posted on Lit, The Drink and suggested it would make a much better short story.
I have just revised and posted the new story, now called "Going for a drink" and she was absolutely right. This is the first story I've written in the present tense and I was pleased with the result.
