Hi all

I'm looking for a writer who can create a story from just a picture and a loose guideline from me. I have a few pics in mind so if you want to know more and want to see a pic or 2 to get get an idea then just pm me.

Why not just post said picture to the thread and see if anyone takes interest? You would get more interest than just saying hey I got pictures I'll give you to write a story about.

Besides as it stands now you sound more like a pervert husband trying to pass around pictures of the unknowing wife.

It's an interesting idea. I've had it a couple of times in creative writing classes. The tutor handed round postcards, one for each student, and we had to write a story based on the postcard.

I got one of French peasant cheeses, and it stirred lovely memories from very long ago. The outcome was my story 'Fromage paysan', posted here on Lit.

Why don't you try writing a story yourself, Muppet? Everyone has to start somewhere...

I agree with posting a pic or two and let the creative juices of the writers take it from there

Inspiring Pictures

I have written dozens of stories that were all based on either a single picture or a series of pictures. In fact, I have dowloaded pictures and used them to illustrate the stories. It comes down to ones imagination. You see an image and then let your mind go with it.

I second the response you got suggesting that you post the picture and see what ideas you get. What have you got to lose?

Just remember, on Lit you have to own the picture you wish to use in the story. (Be it as the photographer or the model, and you'd need the permission from the other to use it.) Also, the pic(s) in question must abide by Lit's pic posting rules.
