The problem with writing a story, any kind of story about Spec op troops is that MOST people know very little about the life of a spec op's soldier. It makes it difficult to write. The old slogan goes "Write what you know!"

Do we have to be specific?
Could the soldiers be on break because I agree, finding out about "special assignments" would be difficult, if not impossible.

I should have been more specific.. I do know a lot about Spec Ops guys, from doing my homework.. oh man, are they hot!!! Nothing like a strong, dangerous alpha male to get a woman's blood boiling.
I really just meant stories where they are involved, not when they are out on missions. They can be doing anything - on vacation, out in the jungle rescuing a plane crash of stranded women.. in a bar... even retired and doing washing machine repair calls!!! Just so long as they get to act tough and maybe a little mean... that would be great.

Love to help but our lot are so bloody secretive (SAS) I never even got to know any of them when I worked on their base for a couple of months.

They are also not in any way hot headed, this I know, a friend failed the SAS entry tests when he lost his temper, simple as that, one big rage and he was out as a risk to the mission.
