I have just completed an eight day, 500 plus mile holiday round Wales by train using my invalid scooter (see pic). Starting from Tirphil, some 20 miles north of Cardiff in the Rhymney Valley, it involved staying in B&B accommodation in Llandudno, Porthmadog and Llanwrtyd Wells. We were on 9 separate trains, inclding the Ffestiniog narrow-gauge steam railway (yes, they can accommodate a scooter).

Well - I arrived in LLandudno only to find that the landlady, widowed three months ago, was a fellow Lit authoress, and we started talking about favourite stories, and one thing led to ...

When I left there and went to Porthmadog the landlady there was in a lesbian marriage and, as luck would have it, had just found out that her partner was preganant without having consulted her first. Naturally she wanted revenge ...

In Llanwrtyd the landlady was an old hag with a beautiful daughter who got very frightened in thunderstorms ...

Personally I think I'd be more amendable to running a bed and breakfast there, all those guys passing through would give me all sorts of opportunities for one nighters.
