Stockings and suspenders

I am in my 40s and when I was younger I always wore stockings and suspenders at work. When I talk to the younger girls at work they only wear them in the bedroom. They laugh at me sometimes and call me old fashioned lol. I do tend to wear hold ups now and again. Maybe it was the introduction of scrubs to our hospitals but I still wear a dress as my uniform. Are they a thing of the past to wear outside the bedroom???xx

Surely it's about comfort and contentment. If you want to suspend up for work - go for it (just don't do it on the cardiac ward Eh! wouldn't want to kill anyone with a benny hill style heart attack)

Suspender belts and stocking - are probably associated with the video revolution of porn (70's / 80's) etc - when it was all big hairdo's up top and down below and all the girls seemed to be wearing suspends, stocking and matching panties and bra sets!

Have to admit to legs / stockings being a bit of a thing for me over the last year or so. Maybe I watched too many videos

Had a dental nurse once (not in that way!) her tunic did seem 1 or 2 gauges more see through than the norm. From behind could definitely see white bra straps and small brief / panties etc. Was unsure if she had tight or stockings on tho. I don't think there is anything sexier that a woman could wear than this (except maybe a smile). Please continue to do so - gives us all a little hope they'll return.

I do think it's become a lot less common, sadly. I do like people who have a more old-fashioned sensibility when it comes to dress though. I don't ever leave the house without at least a button-down shirt and slacks, usually dress. And a hat. I do wear a hat, though definitely not a douchey MRA fedora. Do NOT want to be associated with that particular hive of scum and villainy. I also wear a suit whenever I have an excuse. I like looking good, what can I say? So I say keep doing what you're doing. Taking pride in one's appearance is not a bad thing.

The best thing about stockings and suspenders is that they just don't age. There is nothing more exillerating that catch a glimpse of the tops of stockings with matching suspenders when a skirt hem rides up or when a woman crosses her legs and then straightens her skirt in modesty.....

No, I dont believe so, tho I'm pretty old fashioned myself....and it does seems like we are becoming more & more extinct...

I generally wear them for interviews or work training...so while I dont wear them on a daily basis (prefer more of a casual dress myself), they are definitely my go-to when I need to dress up &/or look more professional...

Old fashioned or not, keep rocking them...

Oh there are women who still wear them regularly, you just need to know where to look

I dress vintage style everyday. When I wear my frocks I am most certainly wearing my seamed stockings and suspenders (or full girdle) - even to my conservative workplace. Problem is: most men these days don't know what to do with them when they get their hands on my garters, and proper stockings are expensive!
