Still Waiting on First Submission (8 Days, No Response from Support)

Hey everyone.
New author here, and I'm starting to get a bit antsy about my first two stories "A Blackmailed MILF 1A" and "1B" which I submitted about 8 days ago now. They're still sitting in Pending, and I haven't heard anything back. I sent a PM to Laurel and an email to Literotica support two days ago, but no response yet. I know the queue is huge, but is this normal for newbies? Do first-time stories get a closer look or take longer to process? Or should I be checking if something's off with the formatting? Any tips or similar experiences would be awesome—appreciate the help! Thanks!

Newbie stories tend to take longer. You generally won't get a response, your story will just get posted.
It's frustrating, but you've done what you can. Just try and be patient, that's all you can do at this point.

I’m into my sixth day waiting. I have over 130 stories here and it’s never taken this long. If people who normally get their stories posted within 48 hours are up to nearly a week, then it’s not surprising that a new author is at eight days. New authors get enhanced scrutiny.

Right now a lot of us, even those with several published stories already, are waiting too. No one really knows what's going on. Something like 150+ new stories per day ARE being published, but why mine is still pending I have no idea. My advice, whatever else you do, is DON'T go to the pending file and mess with it in any way; that will only push it back to the bottom of the pile. You could msg the admin, Laurel, using the little envelope icon on the header at the top of this page, but don't expect a response. Also read the pinned thread on stories in pending for a long time. Good luck.
