actually while a lot of the best college hockey teams are in the northeast (University of New Hampshire, Boston College and so on) you also have to look to places like University of North Dakota =P The Fighting Sioux kick a lot of ass =P my aunt and uncle went there during some of their national championship seasons and they said it was nuts

Your forgetting about the whole WCHA (university of Minnesota, St. Cloud State University, University of Minnesota-Duluth, University of Minnesota-Mankato, University of Wisconsin, University of Colorado-Denver, Colorado College, and University of North Dakota) alot of hockey talent comes out of this area. The best college hockey in the country is the WCHA final five which is this year in St. Paul, MN. Three days and five games of hockey along with all the different fans it gets really crazy in downtown St. Paul, and that would be why were called the state of hockey.

Well yeah =P i know hockey is to minnesota as football is to texas and all that =P I just dont know anyone from minnesota but i do from North Dakota. =P
