What I find intriguing is the stigmatisation of the Arab by the Jew. To see Arabs as both savages and sub-human is so reminiscent of Hitler that it lends credence to the idea that the Jews, once the victims of the twisted ideas of Hitler have now embraced his racial ideology.
And yet they also see the Arab as some sort of romantic, mythological figure whose ideals they would like to aspire to. This in a nutshell explains to me the heart of the conflict between the two. The Arab as a savage, the Arab as a romantic figure must rest heavily on a race of people who for years could only rely on the Holocaust to gain sympathy from the rest of the world.
From the extracts you have quoted Jews seem confused in their own minds as to how the Arab should be viewed. A vicious, savage enemy, likened to a different species, or the romantic figure who is the only true inhabitant of the Middle East.
I suppose in the Jewish mind this conflicting concept is bound to lead to conflicting reasons as to why they consider the Arab an enemy at all. And like any concepts which conflict they choose the easier option that the Arab is "backward, uncivilized, a man of animal vengeance and crude desires"
After all it's easier to fight someone you hate than an enemy you admire...

His own country still drowns in monsoons, starves, and mutilates children. Since gaining independence from Great Britain India has progresively gone downhill at an ever increasing speed.
