So this was going to be a subplot in that soup idea I had but I thought it could also make a decent standalone.

The elevator pitch: guy lives with his mom and his stepmom, who mom left his dad for. Tensions boil up and stepmom offers to let him work out that tension by sleeping with him and teaching him about sex, though she is upfront: she wants to get pregnant so she can have the closest thing to having her wife’s child

The longer (original) idea: so originally it was going to be part of a story where at a family get together everyone has a special soup which gets everyone horny, one of the family members is a woman who married her lesbian partner several years ago and has been having trouble with her stepson as he has trouble with their relationship and is secretly harboring a crush on her (another element which I’d kind of like to keep is that it’s not just a queer relationship but also an interracial one which leads to more tension as stepmom’s white side of the family is very different than his dad’s). While the goal isn’t to get his stepmom pregnant, they do work out their tensions while having sex with each other with mom (who would be bi or at least willing to try) either joining in or just encouraging them to get it all out.

I think the idea would be kind of interesting. Like I’ve said, I usually like taboo stories where the sex is also an emotional climax.

So in this case: Son is angry for mom leaving his dad even though he wasn’t that supportive, he also feels conflicted about his mom being a lesbian (he’s not homophobic but it makes him wonder if she regrets having him (she of course doesn’t but he thinks about it), and his stepmom is very different than his family and doesn’t quite fit in. On top of that, stepmom could be someone he knows (maybe she was a babysitter or a work friend of mom’s).

On stepmom’s side, she always wanted kids and had hoped to be a good mom to her stepson but it’s clear he doesn’t see her that way. On top of that, she’s bi and even her wife will sometimes say she’s gay thinking it doesn’t matter when her identity is a pretty big deal to her.

From mom’s side, she does love her son and wife very much but she’s always been reserved with showing her emotions and is very guarded (a holdover from her being closeted for so long). She also wants more kids but keeps making excuses for why they can’t have any as she’s worried she’d just fuck things up.

So the sex at first is very spontaneous and rough: stepmom and son do it almost to spite each other and mom/wife but as they continue they break down and come clean about their feelings. Wife/mom gets involved and they forge a new if strange bond

I think the idea of impregnating step-mom is quite nice. But for me, mom's involvement should be non-incestual. So she cheers them on or even engage in sex, but only with her wife.

I think you're on to something here. A young man lusting after his mom's best friend is a tried and true idea. When that best friend becomes wife, it's puts a whole new spin on it. Now the hot step mom is always around. She's walking around without a bra or in her pj's and it's clear he's having difficulty with it.

Since they love in a college town it's not like he's going to move any time soon. I'd focus on the talks between the ladies. This would still end up in the taboo category so whether or not mom gets sexually involved is up to you.

I have a mental picture of mom holding her wife as her son puts multiple loads inside his stepmom. Very loving and sweet. Maybe mom is a lesbian and stepmom is bi and they are all very happy that the son is there to provide the male attention for stepmom.

Love the idea. I think the tension over his mother actually being gay is realistic and puts a good angle on things. I also love the sex starting rough as the son "takes things out" on his stepmother but eventually they get softer as they bond. Realising they both have a deep connection with the mother and want her to be happy is a great way of doing that. And finally, the mother should definitely be involved. If not from the very start, then pretty soon afterwards. Her holding her wife while her son impregnates her sounds insanely hot.
