Anyone the risk factors for lesbian sexual contact? This would include oral sex, fingering, kissing etc...

Oral sex can change the Ph in the vagina and cause yeast infections.

Herpes can be found on other parts of the body besides the genitals. I know someone with herpes on her fingers, another in her eye and I have seen herpes on the areola in my occupation.

Genital warts can be transmitted through contact; hand to vagina/anus, vagina to vagina/anus, toy to vagina/anus.

E. coli can be transmitted if toys or fingers go from the anus to the vagina causing infection.

Any of the other STD's you can think of can be transmitted during lesbian sex. I too used to think lesbians were the chosen ones because we did not have to worry as much about STD but the fact is unsafe sex is not just unsheated penis sex. It is all about the exchange of fluids, virus', bacteria etc.

It helps if you know the sexual history and health issues of your partner but I have seen too many cases where one partner is asymptomatic and the other pops positive for some nasty. Blood work shows one partner is a carrier (herpes) and not ever showing the symptoms.

Even after 9 years my Honey and I still use condoms if we share toys and limit oral sex without a barrier because I get yeast infections very easy due to poor health. You can never be too careful
