America is deservedly the greatest nation on earth and unfortunately greatness always has a penalty.
America's service to the world will never be unambiguous because of the nature of its contribution to global civilization and stability.
The British have good reason to be thankful for the contribution that the United States has made to the strengthening and defence of its freedom this century. I trust we will be unwavering in our resolve to support the American people in this dark hour of their history.

This was not just an attack on America, as everyone keeps saying. This was a slap to all free nations. To anyone that believes in freedom of speech, mind, body and soul. And as such the worlds leaders have stepped forward and shown they know this too, in their actions, offers and prayers. Those who cower in their cabinet rooms and hide behind carefully phrased speeches have proven already they are not leaders but mice. Afraid to brave the set trap to keep their "cheese."

In the last twenty four hours horror struck...now the path to understanding starts..and it will be a long road.
But that path still holds hope for all of us..that we must never give up...even in the face of such terror.
My thoughts are with all of you in the US..in the days ahead never forget we are with you.
