The people of New York don't want this interloping illegal jackal coming to their city and disrupting the rescue efforts. This is so blatantly a photo-op that many republicans are staying away. New Yorkers don't want Bush. They want Clinton.

Clinton?? Wasnt one major disaster enough?

Tragedies like this bring out the worst in people...make them show their true colors. And their names are usually "unregistered".

Yes, a troll -

That was a silly troll indeed. As long as he doesn't slow down the rescue and clearance efforts for photo ops, Bush is as welcome as anyone. The Chief Exec should definitely see this place. And while we are aware that mutual admiration is not high, people would probably complain if he didn't come here.

*sigh*

That is sad that you can't put your differences aside, and accept him as a man in charge of dealing with a National travisty, and not as a politician. Try to understand that he was ASKED to come there by the Governor of the state and the Mayor of the City.

If he didn't go, he'd be an asshole, in my opinion.

And actually, Bill even said, while he is in NYC, (wake the fuck up), that he FULLY supports President Bush and his decisions.

SO SHOULD YOU! :(

Thanks, but you don't speak for all New Yorkers and certainly not me.

Wow... Even after the fact that 9 out of 10 Americans approve the way Bush is handling it?

Where the fuck did you get your information?

I want the President of the United States to see the destruction wrought by an act of war on American soil. Just what is your problem with that again?

Coward!

coming in as unregistered..

you are as bad as those terrorists...

"As as bad as those terrorists?" I know you're just typing in anger, but this is the third or fourth time I've heard this on the board lately, and I think we're letting the terrorists off easy here, don't you? The terrorists were evil extremists. This guy's just a dick.

I don't know, I saw the news footage of the President's visit to NY. Seemed to me that NY was very welcoming to him, and that he gave quite a lift to those involved in the recovery and rescue effort. I would suggest you call home, your village is missing it's idiot.

Sorry, No. Just Starfish.

I think the way you people are responding to this person's statements are explanation enough for why he/she posted as unregistered. There is alot of unjustified and irrational abuse on this board at the best of times, but at a time like this when Americans are very angry, posting anything that may not be widely popular is probably the most rational decision.

I heard that there was alot of disapproval for Bush because he took so long to come to the site. Personally I don't think it matters one way or the other if he is there or not. His statements to the press are seen everywhere on TV anyway, so what should it matter if he's in New York or not? If he really fears for his safety, then surely he should make that his first priority? I don't think Americans would be too happy about losing their president as well.

Having said that, I certainly understand our anonymous poster's anger at the photo opportunites Bush is posing for. I'm not saying he shouldn't be in NY, but when I see some of the pictures he is in the word that comes to mind is Vulture.

It's no coincidence that posts authored by Unregistered draw negative responses. Take a good look at what most of them say.

I've seen worse "abuse" doled out to people who don't post anonymously.
