Hiya fellow Literoticans,

As some of you are aware I experienced a life changing event last Wednesday. Basically, the electrical system in my heart began to malfunction resulting in periodic stoppages causing fainting spells. I was subsequently rushed to the hospital, evaluated and on Friday morning had a pacemaker installed. Surgery was minimally invasive and everything went well. I'm now on restricted activity until further notice, but I can still use a keyboard. :D

To those of you who sent me good wishes on Facebook, thank you for your concern. Especial thanks to Sweet Witch for the initial posting about my experience on Facebook, you're a sweetheart.

So there you have it. I'm still pickin' an' grinnin' thanks to modern medicine. I'll see y'all around the Lit campus. Take care.

Tom (TE999).

Glad you're still around and take care of your heart - it's the only one you get! Feel better.

Since I don't do Facebook, this is the first I'm hearing of this. Sorry about the heart problems and I'm very glad they got a fix in place.

It's good to have you back even if you're headed down the bionic path. ;)

Man, some people will do anything to get time off....

Seriously, glad to hear you're okay. I'm not on FB so had no idea what was going on.

Best wishes for a complete recovery.

Best wishes for resumed activity and function.

Don't walk through any airport scanners!

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but so glad you're on the mend. Take it easy and continue to get better. :)

As someone who stays well clear of Facebook, I didn't know. But I'm pleased to hear that you have been rescued and rewired. Great news. (It's a bit scary when it happens though, isn't it?)

Shit!

I don't do FACEBOOK so this is news to me. I'm glad youre on the mend, old man.

Thanks for all the good wishes, everyone. :D

It certainly was an experience to say the least.

I don't have a plot bunny from this go-round yet, but I'm working on it. ;)

Add an electrical activated penis pump hooked into the pacemaker and several bunnies take flight.

Funny you should mention that. Every time I go out into the garage, the door goes up. :D

Thanks, TX.

Real sorry to hear about you health problems...get well and stay well.

A buddy of mine, had to have a pacemaker implanted at a very early age, he was 30. He's now 65 and still kicking. In fact he now does triathlons for fun.

Hang in there TE.

Best wishes.

Hey, Tom.

Sorry to hear about your troubles and sorry as well for not having heard about this sooner. But glad you're doing better. Maybe you can get a naughty nurse story out of your hospital stay. ;)

As in blaming every erection gotten when a nurse walks by on the wiring of the pacemaker.

"See, nurse. See. It happens every time. That's what the pacemaker is doing. See? Just look at that, will ya? Stands right up at attention. And look how big it gets."
