This "issue" has never been about gay rights. Statistically less than 1% of people want to call themselves "married" to the same sex. Its never ever been about that negligiable number of folks. The reason its been such an obsession with the media and anti-family values extremists is because they view it as way to put a final nail into the coffin of heterosexual marriage and the family. However, they are forty years too late. Marriage died the day that no-fault divorce was instituted. Then later marriage was severed from the right to sex with one's spouse, which turned it into nothing more than a sharing of bank accounts. Big woop. Most people don't bother with the government's marriage non-sense anymore. That can be viewed as good or bad, but its simply the fact.

Today's ruling means nothing, because its little more than a pin prick on a rotting corpse anyway. The media and anti-family values brigades obsession is just a waste of their energy. Heterosexuals will still form unmarried couples like they've been doing for the past forty years. You can't stop that, some people will always be heterosexual. The anti-family extremists won nothing.

The ruling a few years ago legalizing gay sex nationally was far more of a "victory" if you want to call it that for the Gay Agenda. This is about forty years too late if the goal is to wipe out heterosexual marriage. Its already gone, and nobody will miss having the government involved in their relationships anyway.

This doesn't jive with the 'gays are destroying marriage for everyone' narrative.

Naaah. This is all about the redemption of queers. They wanna lose their stigmata as mutant-freaks. Think of it as affirmative action for the morally disabled.
