I've never watched one of these all the way through but I have to state that the commentary is absolutely hilarious:

"The President is wearing a blue tie."

"He went running this morning and is looking vigorous."

Oh sheesh.

Who is going to count how many times he is interrupted with clapping?

Wonder if he will just say "look, shut up and keep your clapping till the end please"

He just got a standing ovation...number one.

He was sooo waiting for applause just a second ago...you could see it on his face. His thoughts are so easy to read...he is grateful to his speech writers over this one about the environment...obviously the right way to go.

He's talking about hydrogen cars now....

Some research money to get us off the oil/gas dependency, and for the environment.

The Demoncrats don't look very happy, like someone is taking money from their pockets....hmmm. :D

*writing down names of all who did not stand on the anti-cloning comment.

What I don't understand is why Clark Kent won't tell Lana Lang how much he really loves her.

Aids assistance to Africa and the Caribbean....

This is going to be expensive, but worth it.

On terrorists...

3,000 in custody, some met another fate. "Let's just say that they will no longer be a threat to the US, and our allies." (Snicker)

Sorry calypso_21...

I didn't see this thread before I started my own...

But you're right...

"My fellow" claps, whistles, cheers, "Americans" claps, whistles cheers...

No need to be sorry.

I think it is hilarious...imagine how sore everyone's legs are gonna be tonight...most are used to the back aches from bending over and kissing...ooh but the standing and sitting...I highly doubt they are all used to the whole up and down thing.

Everytime they stand up now I hear "You put your left foot in...you put your left foot out...you put your left foot in and you shake it all about..."
