... lo and behold, it's spawned a story idea in me
I've pretty much been doing this up over the past couple of hours, want it to include a lot of violence, intrigue etc like the show, follows the life and loves of a simple Roman Centurion in Julius Caesar's army, who fights and fucks his way through Gaul only to come home to find a really screwed-up extended family waiting for him... a different kind of battlefield, but a warzone still nonetheless
Well, here's the characters I've gotten so far, and the rough outline of chapt1 of this baby... might post in segregated sections, or just in one big novel format not quite sure about that yet
Hmm, and now that I look at what I have done so far, I haven't really got all that much sex in there, leading up to it
That all isn't going to be as longwinded as it sounds though, hopefully a bit exciting and engaging and for those that can bear to hang in there, there'll be plenty of fucking to come
Character Names
Quintus Secundinus - Roman First Centurion in Julius Caesar's legion, capable leader and trusted friend of Mark Antony the second-in-command. Honorable man, though ruthless in carrying out all orders from his superiors. A man of principle who is unwavering in battle, who kills without mercy and with little troubles from the things he has done in war. Secundinus is someone who believes in the glory and majesty that is Rome, and through the words and deeds of those around him, sees the best in the city-state reflected in the men of the legion. There is nothing that he would not do for his comrades, including laying down his life if that was necessary.
Felicia Secundinus - Quintus' wife, cherished and beloved by her husband though he is more often than not away from their home in a township on the northern edges of Italy. She is unfaithful to him in return, however, with one of his closest friends Mark Antony... who sees no reason to reveal their affair to Secundinus, and convinces Felicia every time that they are together of the damage and pain that will cause all concerned if she herself does. Mark Antony knows that if their affair is ever revealed ot Quintus, then the man would want vengeance for the wronged act, and one of them would have to die before the matter could be laid to rest.
She is an extremely attractive woman of 38 years, which is why Mark Antony still continues seeing her. Despite bearing two children, Felicia has the looks and body that a woman of 20 would be envious of. With long strawberry-blonde hair, large grapefruit sized breasts, long smooth tanned legs and a firm, round ass, Felicia is a highly sexed, passionate woman, who consoles herself with lovers of both sexes when she feels the lustful needs that could not be ignored. She loves her husband and her family dearly, and in some ways absolves herself of her actions by saying it is the life of a soldier that Quintus has chosen for himself that drives her into the arms of others.
Valentina Secundinus - The elder child of Quintus and Felicia, the older sister of the infant boy Antonius. She is betrothed to be married to the most loyal soldier under Quintus' direct command, Marius Sidonius, who is almost always at Quintus' side and defends him zealously against all threats. There is no real love between the two of them, as there is something akin to cold detachment from Marius towards Valentina. She believes in her heart that he may in fact love other men... perhaps even have a desire for her own father, in his own repressed, rigid, loyal fashion.
She has seen the way Mark Antony looks at her mother when they are together sometimes, even when her father Quintus was home too and they were all in the same room together. Valentina knows her mother Felicia is having an affair with the commander, and that Quintus is completely oblivious to their betrayal of him. She is saddened for him, pities him... and in her way, loves her father in ways that no daughter truly should. She desires her father, as a husband and a lover, and despises her mother for what she does to abuse their own marriage.
Valentina is a very desirable 18 year old, with long curling midnight-black hair, deep emerald-blue cat like eyes, a gorgeous pretty face, full-figured physique with firm, well-proportioned breasts, and a tight little butt that many men found themselves drawn to. She has smooth, ivory-white skin that compliments her beauty stunningly. Truly, she is a prized woman amongst many suitors, but her father has spoken in the matter and she goes to Marius.
Marius Sidonius - One of the top soldiers in the legion as a whole, a brilliant swordsman and loyal bodyguard to Quintus Secundinus. He has been a good friend to the Centurion for many years, having met and bonded on a far-off battlefield over 10 years earlier. He is engaged to Valentina, Quintus' eldest child and only daughter, but he does not love her. The heart of a warrior beats within Marius, and his passion for men, that he takes a-plenty when the legion is on campaign away from his home town, is a driving force.
Marius is a friend and confidante to Quintus, and knows that to refuse the hand of his only daughter would do irreconsilable damage to the relationship between the two soldiers. He decides, as he ponders his situation, that the 'cover' marrying Valentina would provide him might shield his true sexual activities from those who could use this information against him.
Brynhildr - A 35 year old woman, mother of Lysandra and former lover of a Roman garrison commander. She was, in secret, a Gallic rebel tribe sympathiser, and has always harboured a special bitterness towards the conquerors from the south. She has passed on this hatred and mistrust to her daughter. She is honest enough to tell Lysandra proudly that she was the one who killed her father, stabbing him repeatedly in the back with a dagger when the town rose up one year against the Roman garrison based there.
That rebellion had been crushed by Julius Caesar's forces, and many years later when Lysandra is of age, the Romans again return to their village to quash a new rebellion. Brynhildr is a beautiful woman, golden blonde hair, full sensuous figure, gorgeous though slightly matured face, big butt but firm and large, suckable nipples with big fat, rigid pink tips.
Lysandra - 20 years old, daughter of Brynhildr. A younger version of her daughter in looks and mental outlook on the world, though her hair is slightly fairer than her mother's, and her tits just a little perkier.
She has no love for the Romans despite the fact that her father was one - she sees that marriage as being forced upon her by her mother, their union unjust and her mother a prisoner of the circumstances. They are forced again to have to deal with the Romans on a weakened footing when the rebellion they were both actively a part of was crushed decisively before it could properly start up, and have to use their feminine wiles to ingrain themselves with one Roman in particular, if they have any hope to survive.
Chapter 1
Uprising in Gaul, Quintus is told that he will be sent at the head of a detachment of five hundred to pacify the main rebel stronghold where the agitation against the rule of Rome had begun and where the main trouble-starters were based.
Mark Antony is the one that tells Quintus this, privately in the tent of the powerful man who is second-in-command of the Legion behind Caesar, and says that Julius himself, determined to march on Rome and seize it from the tyrannical Senators as soon as possible, was quietly concerned about the Gallic tribes possibly taking this moment of termoil within the Roman Empire as a sign of weakness, and attempt to exploit it.
He expressed to the Centurion that the Legion was counting on Quintus and his soldiers to come through with this operation. Caesar wanted no more trouble from those 'damnable Gauls', Mark Antony said solemnly, because their march south had to take presidence.
Quintus is told by his superior that before returning to the fold of the larger Legion, the Centurion's detachment MUST ensure that the Gallic tribes have been completely pacified, at least for the forseeable future, so Caesar could focus the majority of his forces on other, more pressing concerns.
The commander understands what he is being told. Caesar, through Mark Antony as an intermediary, is passing on the order to completely annihilate the rebel township; burn the buildings to the ground, kill the men, and have the women and children bound up to be sold into a lifetime of slavery.
Quintus asks while he has the opportunity if they will have the opportunity to stop over in his home township - he admits quite openly that he misses the company of his wife in his bed at nights.
Mark Antony smiles knowingly, and says that they will be stopping near there, it might be possible for Quintus to get some personal time if this key mission he is about to embark upon is completed promptly and to their satisfaction.
The detachment leaves camp the next morning, and the Legion continues their travels out of Gaul into Northern Italy. At its head is the Centurion Quintus Secundinus, beside him the man's trusted bodyguard Marius.
They reach the rebel settlement inside of five days and fall upon its ill-prepared defenders without mercy. The rebel forces have obviously not had enough time to properly fortify their defenses. Their leaders had clearly banked on having more time, thinking that no sizable Roman response would be sent to challenge them for some time due to the chaos to the south. They were wrong, and were slaughtered without pity to the very last fighter.
After giving various orders to have the prisoners killed and their own wounded tended to, Quintus takes a number of his men in to secure the town and have its population rounded up.
He was about to give the order that would have his men going amongst the adult males, killing them all without mercy, then have the women and children tied up and bundled off to begin their new lives as slaves, when two beautiful Gallic women catch the Centurion's attention.
Quintus orders that they both be brought before him, and they are, though some of the women they are with cry out and try to pull them back from the soldiers. They are tugged away by some other laughing troops, who take the opportunity to kiss the ladies or cop a feel of their breasts and buttocks. Some other men try to interfere, but punches are thrown by the Romans, and when swords are drawn, the unarmed men quickly back away.
With a single order from Quintus, the two womens' clothes are cut away from them, and they are stripped naked. They both try to cover their nudity from the Romans, trying desperately to hide their bodies from the laughing, leering men, but Quintus commands that they do not - this is passed on harshly by Marius, who can speak the language of this tribe. The women obey him, though the shame and rage that they feel inside is quite obvious to any observer.
Carefully appraising the pair with a keen eye for detail, Quintus comes to the conclusion that they are both satisfactory, and orders that they be brought to their camp outside the city, to be cleaned and prepared to join him at his summonings later in the evening. He gives them both a sly smile, and there is no mistaking the gleaming lust that burns in his cold blue eyes.
As the women are forced off under guard towards the outskirts of the town, on their way to the Roman camp to be prepared for the Centurion's special pleasure, Quintus gave the necessary order to his sub-commanders.
Swords were unsheathed, and the men were marched off away from crying women and children out of the settlement, in the opposite direction of the Roman camp. They were told to stop in a field just beyond the town, then the whole lot of them were mercilessly cut down.
The women and children could hear the screams of their men as they died, and they cried all the harder, knowing that a fate worse than death awaited them now, since they had had the unfortunate luck to be taken by their enemies alive. They were told they would be slaves for life, then shackled and led away towards the Roman camp.
Okay, leave it to you guys to sort it out, look forward to some feedback and suggestions on this! Thanks
