Hey,

Long since I have talked on here.

Anyway, I decided to have all my stories removed cause I want to start over. I felt that my previous material wasn't up to my standards. Also, several of the stories I wanted to rewrite.

So, I am asking if this sounds ok doing this? I prefer just to start over than keeping sub-par work online.

Just did exactly that. It feels good. Strange, sudden (though I requested it), but good. Like clearing a table too cluttered for too long: now the clutter can begin anew.

I'll admit it can be a tough decision because you'll have a few days to wait for the request to go through, which gives you time to change your mind. Which I did many times. But now that I've finally jumped I can recommend it as a good way to go if you suspect it be true for you.

Yeah, that's very true. I thought starting over would be a good thing. I felt that alot of my stories weren't written well and some didn't feel right direction right. I even started over with some of my outlines on the computer, cause I felt that some were shitty.

I believe in the world where real writers live it's called Rewriting. Which can carry a delight all its own. Sometimes you can really submerge yourself in the Rewrite world and find it a lovely place. Like it is now. Good luck on your journey.

You can also rewrite your previously written stories and submit them again, I did that a few times (unless you think your old stories really suck).

It's not wrong to want to rewrite something.A lot of us should consider that.
Myself included.

Quite simply, it's each person's responsibility to figure out the way best for them. I'd say the malleability Lit allows writers/would-be-writers is what I appreciate and take shameless and frequent advantage of: Actually I've cleared the table a couple or three times, as well as keeping busy schedule of edits/revisions. It's kinda weird at first, like going into an empty house that was once full of furnishings. Do the double-take: hey! something's wrong... oh yeah, that. Then you can nod your head and get excited about the new way it'll look in a couple months. Yeah.
