its called messenger.....yahoo, aim, msn, whatever u want

lol...good answer!

though, i think he is looking for something ongoing, correct me if im wrong...maybe just email would work!

If you want it to be "private" don't ya think ya shouldn't tell here on this board?......

On the Sexual Rollplaying board, I've seen people start "closed" threads. They just spelled out the boundries at the beginning, saying it was open only to ______ and ______ and ______ to participate but they didn't mind anybody reading it.

yahoo

Start a private yahoo club and just use the messsage part of it as a thread. Or use estevies idea and just use email. As far as messenger, u can now archive things so I think u could combine that with a conference room and get the desired result, though I may be wrong.

I don't know how to do it on Lit

but you could start a private email group on Yahoo egroups, and only people who are invited will be able to see thre threads. The interface is actually a little better than vBulletin, except that you can't put photos into the emails/posts, or use avatars.

Hey Modest

Got any good Tunes to recommend? Ever heard of the song, Pain in the Grass?

shy son: It's hard to find that older lady willing to do any son thingz with you around here, you'll probably run into some dirty old man who can't write worth a shit because his hands are shaking so bad over your tender ass...The older ladies write some pretty good older woman/younger man stuff though...

good idea Shy Tall Guy

Yahoo egroups is almost perfectly suited to your needs. You can both display the "thread" and have it emailed to you at your request. You can put pictures in posts, you just have to seperately click on them for them to show.

Demian

(sorry to hijack your thread shy son)

Got a head full of good tunes. The Pain in the Grass song is not ringing a bell.

This week I am listening to older PJ Harvey, Shellac, Sonny Sharrock, Modest Mouse(Long Drive CD), and strangely enough...the new "androgyny" song by Garbage...I will hate this song by next week but its great for right now.

Modest...

Ever seen any bandz at the mural, mirage, or eastsider whiplash?

sorry Demian

I live in Vermont, where events never happen. I dont get a chance to see many live shows at all. Most of what comes close I dont care to see. I have seen some good shows in Northhapton Mass. and Albany, NY. Unfortunatly Burlington,VT seems to think that Dave Mathews is good time(it is not).
Lots of good local stuff, but I have lost touch now that I am living in southern Vermont.

intrigued by modest mouses picture. looks like some sad person has rolled up an orange sock and put a silly face on it.

the work of an adult? or a child? .. an eight year old.

I got mud on my new shirt!!

Come into a thread and look what happens.

Oh well that's why they have dry cleaners
