A few years back, I was able to start a conversation with myself. At the time, I used it to write different stories on different conversations. Now I wish I could start a conversation with myself again as kind of a file system for pictures, videos so they could be kept together as a group

I vote to add this feature again.

Why do you need to keep it on Lit? Start a google doc and you can talk to yourself there as much as you want. It's called a diary :)

For links and pictures google sheets will probably work better as you can sort your table by type, by date, by keywords, and by any other qualifier you can think of adding.

Uggh ! ‼️ >> Start a google doc and you ...

Get tracked, recorded, privacy breached, and will get ... so much grief one day... STAY AWAY FROM THAT ORG with any sensitive or private data.
Have any other site they own open, even traceable, and they know more than you can remember.
DON'T ❌

When I was little I was alone a lot. Talking with myself was often better than silence. I'll still do it some to this day. Ask a question, that you may do in your head otherwise, and give an answer... it's second nature to me. The best part, I rarely offend myself.

I talk to myself all the time.
Sometimes I even answer back.
I once had a co worker follow me to a meeting in his car. He was a voracious almost violent self- talker. It was very unsettling watching people have animated self-conversations.

And where do you think you are typing all this? In a browser you wrote yourself that runs on an operating system that you control? Sure, there is Linux for PCs and Firefox or whatever other obscure browsers that will work there, but most people come to Lit from their phones where your choice is either android or iOS. How secure do you think those are? Not from the outside world, but from the companies that built them.

If you hate google this much choose any open source cloud text editor, it doesn't matter. The point was that there is no need to bring an extra feature to Lit when it can be easily done somewhere else. There is no advantage to the user to keep it here. But there is a huge obvious disadvantage - the pictures. In any other place you can copy-paste any images you want - selfies, screenshots, links to anything, they can be as explicit as you want. But Lit wouldn't let you do it, only links are allowed here.
