Starfish has turned to drugs

HOW DOES MARIJUANA USE AFFECT THE IMMUNE SYSTEM?
Regular use of marijuana reduces the strength of the immune system, making it harder for the body to fight infections. This increases the risk of colds, flu's and other viruses. Regular marijuana users also have a high rate of bronchial infections, bronchitis and pneumonia.

Maybe thats because you are inhaling smoke into your lungs????

Of course that is going to affect your breathing/lung tissue. Tabacco will do the same thing and it is a lot easier to smoke massive amounts of cigs then joints.

If people wanna smoke, whether they be Pot or Tabacoo, then let them.

okay......

no dope, no fish...but if you want to really protect your immune system i'd suggest using a condom during sex...the other stuff is trivial compared to that

Big deal ....

Why do people have to make a fuss over someone smoking a little happy herb ? People have been doing it since mankind discovered fire can make things burn.

Live and let live I say ..... oh yeah, can you pass that over here ?
I dropped my pipe yesterday and it broke. I need a new one.

No fuss here. Starfish has an immune disorder. Just trying to help. Not judge.

Two amino acids, glutamine and arginine, appear to boost the immune system
These nutrients function in both the immune system that is present from birth and the part of the immune system that is acquired. The acquired immune system is built up to guard against disease through exposure to various disease-bearing organisms. This is why we aren't likely to get a certain strain of flu if we've already had that particular strain before.
When the immune system is suppressed or compromised, both our natural and acquired immune systems get overwhelmed with infection. It is thought that these immunonutrients can bolster a system already beleaguered by infection, disease, or trauma.
"[Glutamine] and [arginine] are essential for optimal functioning of immune cells," the researchers write. "Clinical data support the dietary 'essentiality' of these two nutrients for improving immune response in most immunosuppressive states that are associated with high rates of infection."
