Here's a thread idea I have been pondering...
I would place this thread at the end of the events from the Brood War game, so the Terran and Protoss are scattered, decimated, and just trying to survive long enough to make it to the next day. The UED has been almost completely destroyed, but may have a few secrets left of their own...
The Terran and Protoss forces have formed a reluctant alliance to fend off the growing Zerg forces and have worked together to do what they can to preserve their territorial holdings and keep the Zerg from advancing.
This is a time for smaller battles, the time to make key strikes into Zerg weak spots, hopefully disabling or limiting the mobility of the Zerg forces.
I am in need of your ideas to make this thread successful, so please post your ideas!
Here's a bio of the character I would imagine playing...
Name: Captain Richard Collins
Physical Description: He is tall and muscular, a black man able to inspire leadership just by his presence alone. He wears his hair in long dreadlocks most of the time and has a scar across his left cheek.
Background: Richard was a former criminal, as most Terran Marines and Firebats were at one point, but after the rehabilitating treatments he showed much promise and advanced quickly within the Terran military. He achieved the rank of Captain after leading several successful raids against Zerg targets. He received his scar when he was defending his home base against an attack from the Zerg during the infamous "Brood Wars." A Zergling managed to pin him down and slash his face several times before he was able to blast it off of him. He is primarily trained in ground combat, being a marine at heart, but proved he had what it took to dive into air combat when he, in his last raid against the Zerg, he rescued three Battlecruisers from a captured Terran base and directed them to blast their way free. Richard is not entirely trusting of the Protoss but nonetheless, he is unquestioningly thankful of the Protoss for aiding the Terrans in their efforts to fend off the Zerg and will honor a fallen Protoss warrior just as he would any fallen Terran companion. Richard is ready to lead any ragtag group of warriors put beside him, Terran and Protoss alike.
