alright, lets try another star wars thread. This is set in the future of the star wars universe, so we are a bit liberated in what we can do. The galaxy has shared relative peace the last few centuries under the Galactic Republic, and the Jedi Order has been restored to a level not seen in millenia. There are thousands of Jedi, at least one from practically every race. but there has been trouble brewing on the far rim, a new threat from beyond the galaxy, drawn by need and the influence of a still powerful cabal of Sith. They are the Dakari, a powerful race of force-warriors, bound by a culture centered around war, where the only worthwhile life is one forged and broken in the crucible of battle. The forces are assembling to fight another war for survival. The forces of the light must be victorious, or the galaxy will burn.
alright, i have a couple provisions on characters.
1) cannot be Dakari
2) as many people can be Jedi as they wish.
3) any sentient race can be jedi. you want Wookie Jedi? fine, Mandalorian? perfectly okay, Yuuzhan Vong? sure, they were force sensitive once, whos to say they havent regained it. Ewok? knock yourself out.
4)characters can be Sith, but as stated above cannot be Dakari.
jedi in this era are more relaxed then in say, the prequel trilogy. They can marry, wear whatever they want, have blasters as well as lightsabers. Many are more warrior then diplomat, but are still expected to perform other jedi functions.
as for write-ups, standard format, most everyone oughta know what that entails, if your confused feel free to ask.
anyone interested?
