The first movie will be fun.

The second one will be a confusing mess.

The third one will be so bad you'll walk out of the theater feeling embarrassed.

By first, second and third do you mean seventh, eighth and ninth? Since the first first became the fourth and...well forget it. I can't do the math.

But following the general consensus (not mine personally) of the preceding trilogies, where:

EP 1: Bad
EP 2: Bad but a lil' better
EP 3: Okay but only because it's the best out of the prequels

EP 4: Classic but okay
EP 5: Best ever
EP 6: Okay but more childish than necessary

it won't necessarily follow that structure. In fact, these next three may take us on an entirely different loop.

While I did love the movie, I did hate that it essentially destroyed the "happily ever after" for Luke, leia, and Han. We now know they there was no such thing for them and no possibility of it ever happening....

But that in itself is a little poetic.

As a childern the ESB gave us that hope.

As adults, force awakens confirms there is no such thing.
