Yoda was like a mad hornet following around a rhino... how delightfully silly. I thought Lucas could've canned the Amidala/Annakin scenes. I know that Luke and Leia HAVE to exist, but all the sappy bad acting is an atrocity. Stupid, those bad scenes are.

I liked the Jedi Vs. Droids scene, and the one before that where they were about to be eaten (excecuted).

ahhh crappy the love scenes were. Add to the quality of the movie they did not.

Portman did a decent enough job, though Christiensen can't act to save his life and probably made Portman's acting look a bit better than it actually was by comparison. fortunately, Mace Windu's lightsaber more than made up for it.

Threepeeo's bad one-liners were a hoot, though!

the Jedi vrs the Traid Federation droids was my fav.

now if you think of the Yoda thing though..... it has always been said Yoda is a great warior. so why was everyone so shocked at his fight scean?

I enjoyed ti but wasn't oh wow look look look like some of the freaks in the theater.

I liked the mass fights better.




now was it just me or did anyone else have a hard time comeing to terms with.....

Jedi's fighting wiht an army of storm troopers at there side....

and Jedie's fighting under the name Empire against a Traid Federation

it was just all so backwards in my mind. Yes it made sence but I couldn't come to terms with it. that's why I coulnd't pic any of the other options in the poll

Ahh but it was not the empire yet, it was still the old republic.

I like the way they had the palpatine playing all the different sides agianst each other. Damn good power politics at the highest level.

I loved it when Obi threw the second saber to Anikan. Anikan actually held his ground with Dooku, if briefly. Amazing scene and too short!

i assume you noticed the change in markings that acompanied the clone troopers assault shuttles, too?

Strangely enough, my fav scene was Annakin riding on the speeder through the desert at sunset to rescue his mother...it was sooo moving, and it played the music from the first movie...it was great! Just way too short....

All the good scenes were too short

That was extremely moving. You just knew his was gonna kick some serious ass. And the look on his face when he looked up from his dead mother in his arms. Oh my god.

Depends how you look at it. I voted the scene where Anikan lost his internal battle, gave into the ways of the dark side. Yoda sensed the turning of the balance at that point.

As for Palpantine playing the trade federation off against the republic to create a emergency situation where he became dictator . . . well, Lucas is a master story teller. I wondered for a few minutes if Dooku actaully was the good guy.

Sadly, master story teller or not, Lucas can't direct. And shouldn't write the final script either. ANH was fantastic, even though it was better overall (IMO) than Empire or Jedi, both of them benifited from the fact that Lucas didn't direct them.

For excitement - Yoda kicks ass. I was screaming along with the rest of the crowd on opening night.

Why does Windu have to use a powerful slash to decapitate Fett? It's a light saber, timing is everything, a flick of the wrist would have been more spectacular.

Galactic Republic. yes, he doesn't rename it until after the Clone Wars, but he's already switched over to the Galactic Empire's symbol. it's on the assault shuttles the clone troopers use.

Why does Windu have to use a powerful slash to decapitate Fett? It's a light saber, timing is everything, a flick of the wrist would have been more spectacular.

larger, arcing slashes are consistent with the style he seemed to favor durring the rest of the shots he's seen attacking in. at least, to me it seemed that way. a flick of the wrist is more Dooku's style.

Out of Control Hormones

The wife and I saw this today, what a lame movie. I couldn't believe the hormonal drival and love-sick crap from the future Darth Vader. It was almost soft-porn, without the T&A. We both were so dissapointed that this is a DVD that we will only have if someone is stupid enough to give it as a Christmas gift. I voted for Yoda, the only decent scene in the whole movie. Anakin needs a sever ass-whipping for being such a sniviling smuck, no wonder the Dark Side had such any easy time taking him into its clutches.

You missed the point of the movie then. This was supposed to show Anakins drop into the darkside and explain what happend to him. He didn't follow the Jedi Code he let his emotions get the better of him. He was too powerful for his maturity level and Obi-wan was not experienced enough to handle him.

Obi-wan said something like this in ROTJ. "I thought I could train him as well as Yoda. I was wrong."
