Actually, wanted to tell you that I took all your aquarium advice, and have LIVING fish in my kitchen!!!! I went with cheap ones this time, just in case it was another miserable failure, so I've got a bunch of Mollies and Platys, but they're happily enjoying their new home... even the two that my daughter decided to catch yesterday so her sister could pet them seem ok.

Mollies aren't like guppies and swordtails are they? Am I gonna have 10,000 fish in there in a couple of weeks?


Yeah, I know this could've been a PM, but callin you a fucksproket in PM wouldn't have been amusing.

We had mollies once, and they do breed, but not with the same daunting enthusiasm as guppies. Plus they eat most of their young unless you're standing ready with a fishnet or have one of those special fish-birthing things that separates the babies from the mom. If you -don't- want scores of molly babies, then you don't have to do much. Nature will take its course.
