I felt we needed one of these. If you have a request for a SRP but don't want to start it yourself, post here. This will give GMs a good idea of what the current rage is and what players are interested in what games. In fact, I'ma add a poll to see what genres are the most popular.

I think this was a great idea for a thread. I know i would like to find a good western or historicle romance to get involved in. but have not really seen many that are open to new players.

I didn't really understand what the genre's on the poll were, but I prefer threads set in the modern day and are grounded in reality, normally involving people indulging in a sexual fantasy that would meet with some of the themes set out on the interests on my profile. Real world settings with characters pushing their sexual boundaries to their normal lives, and probably involving stereotypical kinda characters based on their stated job or lifestyles etc.

Speaking of fantasy. I intend to start an SRP based in Final Fantasy Tactics soon (the true, cooler version for PSX). I will be posting the OOC and Casting Call soon, God willing.

(Wikipedia has an article on Ivalice as shown in FFT, and on FFT itself, and since I'll be drawing elements from there... maybe you guys want to have a look. It's an awesome game.)

I'm in to game genre's fighting games at that... currently working on a revamping of King of Fighters since streetfighter is already taken and Xmen which I had wanted to do as well.

I would do Kingdom Hearts but its just too over my head to turn that into something sexual. Beside Disney characters... *shudders*

I do have a current thing for demon based threads but I dont' like playing in quantity as apposed to quality.

Might start up a real Justice League Unlimited thread get that going..hehe. Since Xmen and Teen Titans is taken..though I did want to do a Generation X or Gen13.

I voted 'other' but what I meant was: everything but superhero.

The setting is really less important to me than the tone, subject matter, and quality.

By tone I mean how dark or light the story is. I just haven't been able to find the capacity to do really dark scenarios. I also don't want to do an incest scenario. By quality I'm looking at the writers to see if they write well, have an attention to detail, build believable characters, etc.... Good writers will bring me in more than anything.

Ok, I'm one of the people who are in the hero stories, but didnt' vote that.
I classified it as technically part of Fantasy, since I have a number of RP's in that too.
