If the student is the right age, it would be acceptable here, but less believable since an 18 year old would have gotten to second base already.

I think it should go farther than 2nd base, but let's not go crazy.

I have seen too many first time stories that go way too far.

I like JRaven's story line a lot and I think it would make a great 2 or 3 (or more) chapter series. It might be safer if it were between a college freshman and professor so there wouldn't be any confusion over legal age. Votes aren't the issue. I agree that you that a good story well written can make a difference however good stories do need to lead to some resolution. A touched breast is not a rights of passage. Ending it this way just leaves the reader hanging. If the story ended instead with a kiss and the teacher vanished we'd have a good ending. This thread is dragging on because people basically like discussing the student teacher subject. There's a lot of rationalization going on to buy into this 18 year old just coping a feel conclusion.
