Been there. Repeatedly, actually.
Seems who and what I am inside makes them choose me.
Only advice is there are routes and methods to make sex and passion and intimacy a safe harbor. Or at least a much safer one for them.
I read text book and therapy guides back in college to help myself help them but the titles escape me - it's been twenty years.
