Hi there. I've noticed you around a bit, and thought it would be interesting to get to know you better, seeing how you seem so cool.

This isn't intended to make you uncomfortable, so anything you don't want to answer isn't required, and it will be understood that you didn't want to talk about it... so sit back and have fun telling us about all that is a... weed.

:D

When you first came to lit, where you immediatly sucked in, or are you shy and had to lurk some?

What were your first impresssions of the bb?

Describe yourself. What do you see when you look at yourself? What do you think others see when they see you?

Do you like to read here at lit? Are there certain types of stories that you like best, or do you check out all of the catagories?

How big is your garden? Discribe it and tell us a bit about what herbs you grow and what you use them for.

When it comest to sex, do you like to be adventurous or are you pretty ritualistic? Is mental stimulation more important to you than physical or do you like a happy medium?

If you could 'Spotlight on' any one person here at lit....who would it be..... and why don't you do it? ;)

Atrazine usually does the trick, although the frogs don't really care for it.

Ah, good, then Atrazine is just the thing for you. I understand your reservations about using inorganics for weed control.

I've managed to use them before, like Malathion (now banned from retail sale, kills honey bees) and because I really have such excellent control skills from my education, I've never had a problem on site. My mother on the other hand...

I really don't think that usage of any non residual, when well planned and properly needed, herbicide would have any serious effect on insect and rodent populations. I've seen endless data on these chems and when it is done right it is fine.

However, and rightly so, the average home owner knows Jack SHit about what they are using and what it does to know if they REALLY need it.

It is odd to me how much over application of pesticides and herbicides go on by uneducated home owners.

Oh, are we talking about home care? I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about a Litty member named weed. My error, much apologies.

We were, but I am not about to let you give weed cancer, so I switched the subject. ;)

Weed control!!!!

Don't you control my weeds!!!!

Not without asking anyway. Some weeds like to be controlled.

Hi, Starfish. Not sure if I should thank you or not for that spotlight. (blushing)

I read stories here for a at least a couple years, off and on, before coming to the forum. I lurked a couple of weeks before posting.

After a few days what sunk into me as an impression more than anything was hat a wide variety of folks come here. And what a wide variety of subjects discussed....and viewed.;)

Stories I like? Many. I find it easiest to pick from the New section and peruse. I do tend to gravitate to certain...um...mild deviancies but we don't need to go into that here.

There's not too much exceptional in my features. My best is my brown eyes. I think they light up when I smile. Unfortunately I think I appear much more serious to others than I feel inside.

My garden is not huge but I get as many toms, zukes, summer squash and lettuce as my family can eat. Throw in some green beans, peppers and a few potatoes as well as culinary herbs for variety. Mother nature gives me dandelion, burdock, blackberry and red raspberry leaf, st john's wort, yarrow, meadowsweet, clover, chickweed......mother nature is bountiful nearby and I collect from her to use as needed throughout the year. A few of my favorites I grow echinacea, vervain, feverfew, lavender, mullein, calendula and chamomile. I dry them for teas, make salves and tinctures and syrups.

Sex? I would like to be adventurous. I think the heart and mind as well as the physical sensuality should be incuded if the adventure is going to reach the peak it deserve.

Hmmm, I'll have to think about the spotlight thing.

Thank you for revealing a little about your self. Your garden sounds perfect.

:rose:

weed....you are such a lovely woman...please tell us a bit more? All this was about your herbs, I wanna know more about YOU.:)

I also grow herbs, mostly for culinary use, but I also use them in my soaps. It is so nice to use the freshest ingredients you can, and especially when you grew them yourself.;)

Since Starfish is getting personal with the weed I'm guessing we're not going to get stoned?

Weed is one of the loveliest posters here.

She is smart, well spoken, kind, and politically right on, in my opinion. Plus she keeps my odd hours.

scents and me

I love scented soaps. I live in a little town that has a local gourmet/natural food store as well as a farmers market where I can usually get some homespun soaps I can fondle as I enjoy their sensuous aromas. Lavender is such a favorite of mine. Rose, too. Mmmmmm......

TY....yeah, odd hours. Probably too many of them.

Something else we have in common.....forgetting to log-in? Gets me quite often. Guess I get too excited when I'm here.:D

Oh, thank goodness. I would feel bad rolling and setting another poster on fire.

Agreed!

Ruby, did you pass the proverbial "spotlight" torch? Fishie mentioned she called you out last weekend to do spotlights and you never responded...

Well, that might depend on the context of the rolling and igniting, wouldn't it.;)

oh, boy...that's right...i got sent home with homework, too.

I can't think of any situation in which setting another person on fire would be a good thing.

*slips out to check something in the back. slips back in*

That would be, most unfortunate.

Unless you're talking about the fire within.;)
