It certainly is tempting, and as you said a great raise to add to one's regular wage. In the above scenario, I think, there's a potential for realism. At least, more so than working at Kohl's or the local grocery store. lol It can sound legit (and maybe even start that way, too) instead of giving the young lab assistant the "creepy sexual harassment vibe".

I feel like "massage parlor" might be an even more plausible workplace environment for this, although sperm collection could work, too. Maybe place it in the slightly distant future, and fertility rates are down, so prices for sperm have gone up, and so sperm banks are competing with each other for the best donations...
