Ok, so I have $50 I got as a bonus from work. The catch? It's gotta be spent online and before my last day (the 18th).

I have no clue what I should spend it on, however. How would you spend it if you were me?

Can you get Central Market gift certificates on-line with the money? If no, then go with the Williams Sonoma. Gives you a chance to get something big.

Hi, Nora!

The bonus, I'm assuming, is for your hard work - so don't be shy about treating yourself! Personally, I wouldn't buy shoes online...hard to try them on for the fit. The gift for your hubby is sweet...and if it would give you more pleasure to give him the book than to get something for yourself....go for it.

What will make you feel the best? What would give you the biggest smile? What do you truly want? You know...just ask yourself....and listen..... :)

Shoes woman! You can never have too many :)

When was the last time you got a decent pair of shoes for under 50 bucks?

If Nora's not going to send it to me, then I vote Burt's Bees.

I love you, RR, but just not that much.

Mischka, that's the grocery ones. HEB gift cards are good for CM, too. Lord knows it seems like I spend my freakin' life in there sometimes! (ok, how sad is it that I have CM's website bkmarked? It's for the sales fliers, really! Of course, I subscribe to their newsletter, too...*sigh* I need a life.)

Ack, so I just checked their site and noooo! I can't order gift cards online? Mental note to yell at HEB. Ok, marking Mischka down as a Williams-Sonoma vote.

How about enrolling in one of CM's cooking classes? Fifty bucks ought to get both you and your husband in (or mostly in), or you and a couple ingredients.

(And I've got them bookmarked as well. The calender of meals has come in handy more than once.)

Oooooh Mischka! I've been DYING to do the sushi class ($55 freakin' bucks, fuckers.) but it's at 6:30pm and I usually work late. But but but but but!! When I start the new job I will probably be in training from 8-5 so I *might* be able to convince hubby that that's something I really really should do anyway! *grins*

Ok, shoes are definitely in the lead. If I did shoes it'll probably end up being in the form of Payless gift cards (cuz I be po' and cheap).

Nuttin wrong with being po' and cheap........lol

Hell im so po' i have to wear wal-mart shoes....LMAO

Ya know, Devilish1, I never even considered clothes. Hmm....

Could use some.

Could also use new boring brown and basic black shoes, though.

I did buy a spiffy pair of shoes and a matching bag at Payless night before last. $11 for the both. G-d I love clearance racks! But they're too dressy for most of my work stuff.

See, I've trained myself to be *really* bad at spending money! lol

I made the mistake of going to Atomic City this past weekend. All shoes were on sale. I ended up with a pair of lime green cowboy boots with two inch lug sole platforms. You know, something practical.

(The moral of this story - splurge!)

PV, I would but they'd look uber-goofy with my work clothes. Really. Now, I know I'm not a fashion maven, but even I know that!

Girly, you sweet thang!

LMAO!!! Ya know, amazingly enough I don't think I own a single thing that would go with lime green platform cowboy boots! *grins*

I could use a new cream-colored blouse though. Coffee seems to find it's way to my shirt every time I wear a light color...
