I'm rewriting my story (for the fourth time) and I have a question on phrasing.
Would I be rejected for a line like this Tim gasped "Mom! Don't or I'll cu...! on grounds of misspelling? Do I really have to change 'cu...' to the word 'cum' to get my point acrossed? I'm not complaining or whining mind you, I just would like to get it right..LOL I had a couple lines in my story that the speaker was cut off in mid-sentence and I was wondering if there was an acceptable way to write that to avoid rejection for spelling.
