Spectacular story today in LW

"Two Wishes" by TamLin01. So outstanding I had to give the heads-up to those authors who might not frequent LW very often.
I had never read this author before, but I was blown away by the tale.
My 2 cents.

Agree with Metamorphose and Goldeniangel. The writing was just spot-on, and the storyline was terrifically original (too rare in LW, especially, these days). I had never read the author before....it was a refreshing find.

Ya know, I didn't even realize there was an author's forum on this site. Oops. In any case, thanks a ton for directing people to my latest. I logged in expecting it would have about a thousand reads and maybe a comment or two because that's my average; when I saw the actual numbers I almost fell off my chair. I guess LW gets a teensy bit more traffic than the Erotic Horror or Sci Fi/Fantasy sections. There are more comments on "Two Wishes" than virtually every other story I've posted put together. I actually went and PMed people who commented thanking them, which is probably a bit much, but ya know, it's easy to feel down in the dumps when you feel like your stuff isn't getting read, so to have this one story get so much unexpected exposure, it's a bit like Christmas morning. Especially since "Two Wishes" was not particularly popular on any other site.

It was a fun little tale, and I don't often opt for the LW category

It reminded me a little of the Peter Cook and Dudley Moore movie Bedazzled.

There was the question left in my mind, though, that with the knowledge she's left with at the end of the story, whether Nadia then responds to the apparent desire/fantasy of her husband after her final meeting with Darius.

Hahaha you deserve all the reads/compliments =) It was a really cool story. I know what you mean though, it's always fun to come on and have feedback... just a warning, it's also addictive. like crack. =P
