Pure has kindly allowed me to post a novel synopsis on Story Discussion Circle for peer critique. It's a short 1000 word version required for some Agents and Publishers.

I'd like as many opinions as possible, if you can spare the time. Here's the Thread link.

*bump* 'cos I'm going out for 3 hours.
Thank's Rob, Hugo. I'll come back to you later Rob, if I may, to clarify your comments on the final section.

The half dozen people who have responded, thank you all, have cleaned out the anbiguities and punctuation mistakes. Now I need a little boost in confidence from people reading the synopsis and telling me an agent or publisher is going to demand to see my manuscript :D

If you've five minutes to spare, it's only a thousand words. The link is in the quote.
Thank you and good night.

Thanks a bunch to everyone who helped with this - a certain amount of re-writing will be necessary to include the plot linkages most commentators thought desirable, and which I agreed with having read everyones arguments.

I've had the thread taken down on SDC as I googled something related to the story this morning and found the discussion of my novel plot on the front page of a Google search - not exactly what was intended :D There is a lesson in this somewhere.

I saved back copy of the thread to a word.doc so I have all your valuable advice safe.

Thanks again.

Neo, let me know when it's done, I'd be willing to go through a final run-through for you.

Thank's, much appreciated.
Can't tell you embarrassing find the whole thing on Google was - Pure has been fantastic in getting the situation sorted.

Lesson 1) Don't include an actual and unusual name in a plot discussion unless you want the world to know your plot.

well, remember, Literotica is HIGH on search engine lists, so anything here will come up in the top ten likely... but I hear your concern... best to take it down until it's published! ;)

It was picking up the specific name of the church - even though there were only 200 odd hits to the thread, the quote links within threads act like a multiplier (not many people know this - if you want a high ranked web site put links within your own site).
