This is for the girls.......the spice girls can respond too, if they want.

When was the last time your Husband, or Boyfriend gave, or sent you flowers?

If you recieve flowers, is it only when there is a romantic holiday/anniversary etc....or when they have fucked up.

Do you ever just get flowers for no apparent reason on no special day?

Do you like to get flowers sent to your workplace?

Does this make you feel special in mixed company? Do you like that?

Don't Kill The Flowers!

The Man Knows Not Ta Bring Home Any Bouquet Unless He Has Spent At Least 70.00 Bucks On It:D

Bouquets, For Me, Have To Be Unique And Worth The Death Of Flowers That Could Have Lived A Much Healthier Life Otherwise.

Roses Are Ugly, And Single Flowers Do Not Impress. Buy Me A Plant They Look Beautiful And Stay Living.

The last time I received flowers was about 2 months ago. No special occasion. I have been sent flowers many times on holidays, birthdays and special occasions, but more often than not, just because someone wanted to do something nice for me.
I have had them delivered to my work more times than at home, and of course I like it and how it makes me feel. It would mean the same to me if someone hand picked me flowers, as it's the thoughts behind the gesture.

Hey Sexy Mama! You too!

I like it...

The last guy I dated sent me flowers all the time. I thought it was pretty unusual at the time, probably because he was the first man I had ever dated with a significant income. I liked getting flowers at work, and despite words to the contrary, roses can be nice from time to time. People will always stop by your desk and ask whether it's your birthday or something. I received a live plant once, and I did like that, since I can keep it for a long time. There are other ideas, though. The same guy sent me a cake once at work that just said "I love you" on it with a note that said to share it with my friends. He once sent me a huge Chicago-style pizza that practically fed the entire office just because I was feeling a little depressed.

I admit, it was very sweet of him to do those things. It upset me after a while, though, because I felt like he was doing those things to some how make me in debt to him. He wasn't, of course, but I think it is possible to go overboard. Make sure that your s.o. doesn't start to take it for granted; that way she will still be excited when you do something nice for her.

Just a little story.

My mom died last July. There were tons of floral arrangements at her viewings and funeral.

There was one lone red rose in a vase on a table. We came to find out thru friends of the woman that sent it, that it had special meaning. The card only had the womans first name, and the saying. "One rose will do"

It was from an old friend of my mom's and they used to have that saying between them.

I placed that rose in my moms casket when I kissed her goodbye for the last time.

Not to bum anyone out here......but a single rose does have much meaning.

My mom also didnt like cut flowers...like RNAB she prefered living plants.

But out of all the floral arrangements at her funeral.....that one rose had the most affect on me, and impressed me the most.

gosh killswitch.

thank you for such an honest and touching story.

i can see by the reactions here you have lots of fans and friends who shared in your grief.

did you honor your mothers last wishes and chain her corpse to the back of your pick up truck and drag her cross country or did you opt for the traditional dousing in moonshine and setting her remains on fire?
