Sparky!

I'm speaking to everyone - I love you all.

If you remember - I'm on professional sabatical - I said that I would not be here much.

I've been riding my motorcycle - a lot. And after the towers came down (I nearly went/road down to Battery Park that morning, ong story) and after the anguish of knowing quite a few people who lost folks, and after riding down to Ground Zero on the Wednesday after and not being alowed bellow 14th street - I skipped town - to ride and get my head together. Took the baby n the cage (that's a car for you non-biker's) and the bike a couple of other times. I did 800 miles in two days and fit lunch in with my 18 year old (yes, worried about him right now). Today, rode with my club and this nut Greek on a Duckatti left the road in a sweeper at about 80. He was okay - broken finger. Bike had about 5K worth of damage.

So, I've been busy - and I can't sleep - but I feel it coming on fast now. It's late, I'm tired and I can't keep up with all this. I would love to chat with you all. Catch up ya know. I don't even know these people here anymore.

So I will - but for now - later.

Hey Myst? Can you blow me?

Wow just a broken finger. Was he in full leather? Or just really lucky.

The Greek guy - the questionable rider.....

One the Ducati (I was attempting a biker joke with Duck-atti) 996S - the yellow one - one of the finest machines made of any kind - was wearing a $2600 Prada Leather jacket - a styling statement - not road-rash protection!!! He was wearing jeans and weight lifting gloves (he's a physical trainer I guess) and tennis shoes.

He's one of the craziest fucks I've met out there. He just missed a country type mailbox on a post too.

Yeah - he's real lucky to go down in soft ground and not hit anything.

I'm not riding with him anymore. Prior to the ride, during our meet up and coffee at 6:30am (the only time to run roads round here at full speed - I was up at 5am to travel to the mountains) he was bragging that "nobody was faster than him."

What a stupid fuck.

I ride smart - I got kids - my bikes paid for and a gift from the Shebabe. I don't need no crashes.

:) That is the smartest thing I've ever heard you say at Lit, Sparky.
