What would happen if you forwarded all the spam you receive in one day to one selected spammer?

Say you get 24 spam emails and you forward them all to the 23rd person to spam you? Would it make a difference? Would it even be noticed?

I'm going to do it and find out.

Update us on what happens. I think I'm going to try it.:D

Inteesting idea. I never tried that, but my spam experience is that your replies bounceback as undeliverable.....sorta like re-heated spam.

I did it. Two bounced back, but once I found an actual address, I forwarded them all to it. It's a pain in the ass using Hotmail to do this, but I'll keep it up for a few days.

Here's another thought: take a spammer's addy that you know works, and use it to sign up for all this internet junk and crap. Like that secret admirer website. Just go crazy.

I believe what would happen is that when you forward to a spam e-mail address that e-mail address says to the system "okay we have a live one here" and then starts sending you insane amounts of spam because it knows it's a valid e-mail address and that it does get checked. The best thing to do with spam is to delete it.

Most of the emails have been bounced back. It's a failed experiment.
