They had a lot of trouble with merchant when the intergalatic trade opened up to the Killra. So they had cooperatively created the space station as a safe place to conduct trade. It had become a hub quickly and Marivium was one of the guardians.
She understood the problem rather easily once she looked at all the information. Their society had evolved to the point where there were no men, most of the space traders were male, and seemed to think that all women were objects to serve them. Naturally conflict had occured, and the few law enforcers had been forced to focus all their attention on traders.
Now the space station boasted a new type of law enforcement, all personal were trained in hand to hand combat. It had been one of the strictest tests to pass, she'd had to take down someone much larger than herself. No alcohol was allowed to be sold on the station, and this type of regulation, helped encourage the traders to conduct their business, and not to think of pleasure.
She glanced at various reports, requests, and so on. Killra did not really need the trade, which is why so many came, and so the station was more of a way to allow the planet to remain untouched for the most part. It was odd to see so much interest in other humanoids wanting to develope a more permanent trading position.
